Rain creates a waterfall at Uluru.

Uluru’s dormant waterfalls have awakened after recent rains. In the 24 hours leading up to 9am Thursday, 14 millimeters of rain fell at the desert icon. As a result of the cloud cover, it was difficult to see Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park’s iconic rock.
